Ethical Entrepreneurship
Weekly insights from The Ethical Entrepreneurship Ecosystem framework, and behind-the-scenes thinking from the process of building ethical, well-resourced businesses that don't depend on performance, pressure or compromise.
What to expect
The Ethical Entrepreneurship weekly brief explores how to build a profitable business that reflects your values, supports your life, and creates meaningful impact.
Most business advice treats profit and ethics as a trade-off.
Make more money or stay true to your values.
Increase your impact or maintain your integrity.
I don’t believe those are the choices we should have to make. I believe the way we make money matters just as much as how much we make. Because the businesses we build shape our lives, our communities, and the impact we’re able to create.
A Sample of The Writing
“You want to make more money, not for the sake of it, but because you know what becomes possible when you are properly resourced. You can support your family, create more ease in your life, fund the causes you care about and put more resources behind the change you want to make.
Yet values-led women founders are still presented with a false choice about what it takes to earn more:
Follow the conventional business playbook and accept the pressure, constant visibility, manipulative sales tactics and ever-increasing demands on your time as the price of growth.
Or reject that way of doing business, stay true to what you believe, and quietly accept that your income may always be limited as a result.
I don’t believe either of those choices is necessary.
The women I work with want to earn well because of the way they have chosen to build their businesses, not despite it.
And that requires something more fundamental than finding another marketing strategy.
It requires redesigning the business itself so your ethics AND profit are built in to the model, in alignment with each other.”
